Point of Origin: JKHB
Destination: Home
I decided to try taking the Lee West route today. Bad choice. There was a big traffic jam due to the construction. Northern end of the route was especially congested due to a number of people exiting west to the Talmage across the southern flow of traffic. I was originally planning on taking East Eyring but the north bound traffic was too intimidating to attempt crossing. I ended up taking the west eyring belt loop past the SWKT. Traffic had thinned out somewhat and almost all of it was south bound at that point. By the time I got to the route north of the JSB there was almost no traffic at all becaust the bell tower had chimed the beginning of the next class.. At this point I decided to take the western routs that would take me past the Testing Center, rather than taking the eastern route past the Bensen. From there it was easy cruising down the stairs to home.
Moral: Go everywhere late. The traffic will make you late anyway so why put up with it when you can go late purposefully and miss all the traffic?
This has been Kate with your morning campus traffic report.
